Dr. Nick Coles has been organizing and managing international conferences, exhibitions, seminars, workshops and training courses since 1972. He initially graduated with a First Class Honours Degree and thereafter obtained a Masters Degree and a PhD before becoming the Engelhard Research Fellow. After a successful academic period and further management responsibilities for the then British Steel Corporation and BP, developing an international series of events for BHRA, he was invited to join IBC (now part of Informa Group) who at that time were a subsidiary of a public company. As a main board director, he and his co-directors were involved an MBO in 1983 and a reverse takeover of a UK Stock Exchange listed company in 1986.

Environmental Matters, GeoMedia Group, the Adam Smith Institute, the CWCGroup etc and currently acts as Director – Conferences & Exhibitions for Dome Exhibitions based in Abu Dhabi in the Middle East where he has been responsible for initiating several new events including IDOC series supported by ADNOC and leading IOC’s and NOC’s.
