PRACTICAL GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING A DOF IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY |
| |
Stephen Ashley, Juan Carlos G Bonilla, Zaki Ali, Schlumberger |
|
| |
|
Aims of the workshop: |
· |
The main objective is to give participants hands-on practical experience in developing a Digital Oilfield implementation strategy. A hypothetical scenario complete with business and technical objectives, along with operating environment constraints will be presented for discussion. Working in teams, attendees will be challenged to propose their own strategies for achieving specific objectives. Workshop leaders will provide input from real world implementations, guiding the teams as needed. Each team will be required to defend their ideas and recommendations to the remaining attendees. |
· |
DOF solution components will be presented and discussed throughout the workshop using the real-world based hypothetical. Key benefits include guiding participants through the necessary thought processes for defining a customized DOF solution to deliver clear business and financial objectives. |
· |
Recommended attendees include anyone involved with the implementation of DOF from all relevant backgrounds. |
